Music Department – Assistant Choir Director

Title: Assistant Choir Director (Spirit of Life Choir Director)

Reports to: Director of Music
Annual Salary: $11,839 (approx. 6-8 hours per week, 10-month contract)
Job Summary:

• Responsible for rehearsing and directing Spirit of Life Choir for 1-2 worship services per month, directing occasional summer pick-up choirs, and other special events, including concerts.
• Assisting the Director of Music with overseeing music-related budgets, planning and executing the church Concert Series or other church-sponsored concerts, maintaining the choral library. and other duties as agreed upon.
• Explore opportunities to involve youth in the musical life of the congregation.
